Kat Saka’s Kettle

We’ve heard good things about the coffee here at Kat Saka’s Kettle, and wanted to try it ourselves. While the Spiked Cold Brew Black Caf, which features a chocolate liquor, sounds absolutely delicious, we opted to go with the non-alcoholic version because we were there first thing in the morning and it was already really hot and sweaty.

The cold-brew was richly flavored, and the Sweet Cream Cheese topping was delicious. It was topped with chocolate puffs (which tasted remarkably like Cocoa Puffs 😉), so I preferred sipping to using the straw. Although I have to admit that drinking it this way was a little awkward.

We also tried out the Outpost Popcorn Mix, which claims to be a “blend of sweet and spicy flavors”, but honestly I only got the “sweet”. It tasted just like Froot Loops cereal which was a little off putting. I was hoping that the spicy would come through more.
